Description

I wasn't sure if this was a worthy target with a modified DSLR given the difficulties I had teasing out any details with the Witch Head nebula, but this dark nebula, as well as the two blue tinged reflection nebulas VdB 150, VdB 149 and the distant galaxy PGC 67671 on the far right made it an interesting challenge.

Title: LDN 1235, The Dark Shark Nebula, undrizzled

Description: Not sure why, but I am finding the color management, saturation, and processing much more pleasing with the undrilzzled image compared to the drizzled first upload. The workflow was otherwise nearly identical, but the drizzled images are coming out with a substantial purple cast. Not surprisingly, the the stars are better with the drizzled image, but as far as overall image composition, I think I prefer this second version.
